Take Time to Breathe

Have you noticed how much busier we seem to be with each passing year? It feels like there’s always more to do, more pressure and less time to do it.

I’m certainly feeling it, so this weeks’ thought is a note to self: – that a great way to take a breath and take some of the pressure off, is to remind ourselves that everyone else is feeling it too. Some of them much more than us.

Here are a couple of time tested ways to address that: – first from Benjamin Franklin: –

“The best thing to give to your enemy is forgiveness.

To an opponent, tolerance.

To a friend, your time and heart.

To a child, good example.

To a parent, conduct that makes them proud.

To yourself, respect.

To others, understanding.

And, after identifying a problem, look for a solution”.

Enjoy the rest of your week.
